What is World Poker Masters?
World Poker Masters is the most monumental tournament series CoinPoker has ever hosted.
This was the new benchmark, surpassing previous series guarantees, tournament leaderboard prizes, and ticket giveaways.
This series began on May 3, running daily tournaments until June 1.
We set a $25,000,000 guarantee for World Poker Masters, but reached $48,000,000 in payouts by the end.

World Poker Masters Terms & Conditions
1. Promotion Period
- These Terms & Conditions apply to the World Poker Masters tournament series running from May 3rd to June 1st, 2026.
2. Eligibility
- Participation is open to all verified CoinPoker account holders in good standing.
- Participating events will be clearly marked as World Poker Masters events in the CoinPoker client.
- CoinPoker reserves the right to exclude players suspected of abuse, manipulation, collusion, or any form of unfair activity.
3. Series Overview
- World Poker Masters features a total guaranteed prize pool of $25,000,000.
- The series includes:
- A Main Event with a $2,500,000 guaranteed prize pool
- Leaderboard competitions totaling $500,000 in prizes
4. Main Event
- The World Poker Masters Main Event has the following key details:
- Buy-in: $530
- Guaranteed Prize Pool: $2,500,000
- The Main Event follows a multi-flight format:
- Day 1 flights run every Sunday during the series
- WPM Main Event Day 1A – 03/05/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- WPM Main Event Day 1B – 10/05/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- WPM Main Event Day 1C – 17/05/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- WPM Main Event Day 1D – 24/05/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- WPM Main Event Day 1E – 31/05/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- Players may enter multiple Day 1 flights
- Only the best qualifying stack qualifies for Day 2
- Day 2 takes place on Monday, June 1st, 2026
- WPM Main Event Day 2 – 01/06/2026 (17:30 UTC)
- All qualified players combine into a single field for Day 2
- Day 2 will be played through to completion, with a winner determined at the conclusion of play.
- Day 1 flights run every Sunday during the series
5. Mini Main Event
The World Poker Masters Mini Main Event has the following key details:
- Buy-in: $55
- Guaranteed Prize Pool: $500,000
The Mini Main Event follows a multi-flight format:
- Day 1 flights run daily throughout the series
- Fridays act as rest days, where no Day 1 flights are scheduled
- Players may enter multiple Day 1 flights
- All surviving players advance to Day 2
- Day 2 takes place on Monday, June 1st, 2026
- All qualified players combine into a single field for Day 2
- Day 2 will be played to a winner
6. World Poker Masters Leaderboards
- The WPM Leaderboards are four (4) independent weekly tournament leaderboards:
- May 3rd to May 9th
- May 10th to May 16th
- May 17th to May 23rd
- May 24th to June 1st
- Each leaderboard is divided into two tiers:
- High Tier: Buy-ins from $109 to $530
- Low Tier: Buy-ins from $15 to $88
- Only World Poker Masters tournaments contribute to leaderboard standings.
- Satellites and freerolls are excluded.
- In the event of a tournament being cancelled or concluded due to technical issues and prizes being distributed using the ICM (Independent Chip Model), that tournament will not count toward any leaderboard standings.
Leaderboard Period Rules
- Each leaderboard runs from 00:00:00 UTC on the start date to 23:59:59 UTC on the end date.
- If a tournament starts in one leaderboard period and finishes in another, it will count toward the leaderboard corresponding to the time it officially starts.
- The World Poker Masters Main Event will count toward the final leaderboard period (May 24th to June 1st), regardless of when Day 1 flights take place.
Points System
- Leaderboard points are calculated based on tournament performance using a predefined formula.
10*[sqrt(A)/sqrt(C)]*[1+log(B+0.25)]
Where:
- A = Number of total entries
- B = Tournament buy-in
- C = Player position
- Leaderboard points are awarded only to players who finish in the money (ITM) in a tournament. Points are assigned based on the final finishing position.
- No points are awarded for Day 1 flights.

- The WPM leaderboards have a total prize pool of $425,000

- In the event of a tie in leaderboard points, rankings are determined by highest total buy-ins during the leaderboard period.
7. The Champions Leaderboard
- The series includes The Champions Leaderboard, a single leaderboard competition running throughout the entire World Poker Masters series.
Overview
- The Champions Leaderboard is a competition for players who perform the best across all World Poker Masters tournaments.
- The leaderboard runs for the full duration of the series:
- May 3rd to June 1st
Eligibility
- All World Poker Masters tournaments with buy-ins between $15 and $530 count toward The Champions Leaderboard.
- Satellites and freerolls are excluded.
Points System
- The Champions Leaderboard uses the same point calculation formula as the World Poker Masters weekly leaderboards.
Prize Pool
- The Champions Leaderboard has a total prize pool of $75,000.
- The leaderboard pays the top 5 players.
Prize Distribution
- Prizes are distributed based on a fixed payout structure.

8. Security & Fair Play
- CoinPoker’s Game Security team proactively and retrospectively monitors gameplay to ensure fair competition.
- Players found engaging in manipulation, collusion, artificial activity, or any form of abuse will be disqualified.
- CoinPoker reserves the right to withhold, adjust, revoke, or cancel any prizes or leaderboard positions.
- Further account actions may be taken at CoinPoker’s sole discretion.
9. Technical Disruptions
- In the event of technical errors, interruptions, or unforeseen operational issues, CoinPoker reserves the right to adjust, amend, suspend, or cancel any tournament or leaderboard.
- Any such decisions are final and binding.
- If a Day 1 flight is cancelled or finished due to technical issues before the end of late registration, CoinPoker may add an additional Day 1 flight. All buy-ins for the affected flight will be refunded.
- If a Day 1 flight is cancelled or finished due to technical issues after late registration has closed, players will receive a refund of their buy-in and an ICM (Independent Chip Model) distribution of the remaining player generated prize pool.
- If a trophy event is cancelled or finished due to technical issues, the remaining prize pool will be distributed in accordance with the CoinPoker Game Interruption and Refund Policy, and no trophy will be awarded.
10. Participation Disclaimer
- CoinPoker is not responsible for missed participation due to connectivity issues, player error, or device-related problems.
11. Modification & Cancellation
- CoinPoker reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend, or terminate the World Poker Masters series or its added value mechanics at any time without prior notice.
- Any significant changes will be communicated through official CoinPoker channels.
12. General
All decisions made by CoinPoker regarding eligibility, leaderboard calculations, disputes, or enforcement of these Terms & Conditions are final and binding.
Participation in the World Poker Masters implies full acceptance and understanding of these Terms & Conditions.
